Akiyo Miyamoto (宮本(みやもと) アキヨ(あきよ), Akiyo Miyamoto) is one of the students from Class 3-2 during the second season of the anime.

Character

Akiyo is a reserved girl who does not talk much and who likes hanging out at the school's library due to her liking for books. She was deeply touched by the Light Music Club's performances at the school festivals. She has the habit of praising the Light Music Club, although in a very common way, stating its members and activities are "fun".

Appearance

Akiyo has black hair which appears a bit greenish. It is tied to a short ponytail at the back of her head. Her eyes are colored in a mixture of green and yellow. She wears oval, rimless glasses and sometimes a wristwatch on her right hand. As a Sakuragaoka High School student, she is usually seen wearing the school's uniform properly with black socks.

Etymology

• Akiyo's surname Miyamoto means "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya) and "base, root, origin, source" (本) (moto).
