Fumie Kimura (木村(きむら) 文恵(ふみえ), Fumie Kimura) is one of the students from Class 3-2 during the second season of the anime.

Character

Fumie has been Yui Hirasawa's classmate in at least their first and third year of high school. She is very kind, as she allowed Yui to leave her duties to have more time to practice for the upcoming concert.

Appearance

Fumie has long dark brown hair that is tied into two ponytails, falling over her shoulders. Each ponytail is adorned with a barrette that represents a pink flower. During her first year of high school, she also used sometimes blue orbs instead. Her eyes are light brown. As a Sakuragaoka High School student, she is usually seen wearing the school's uniform properly with white socks.

Etymology

• The name Fumie means "writing" (文) (fumi) and "favor, benefit" (恵) (e).
• Fumie's surname Kimura means "tree, wood" (木) (ki) and "town, village" (村) (mura).

Trivia

• During the first broadcast in the Japanese television, Fumie wasn't shown during the official class photo. However, she was later added in the Blu-Ray version.
• Fumie can be seen holding a pen once in her left hand, so she is possibly left-handed.
