Hideko is called "Mom" by others because she looks always calm and composed. She is kind and gentle and often lets people see her homework.
Appearance[]
Hideko is a girl with grey fluffy hair and thick lips. Her eyes are grey too.
As a Sakuragaoka High School student, she is usually seen wearing the school's uniform properly with white socks.
Etymology[]
- The name Hideko means "excellent, fine" (英) (hide) and "child" (子) (ko).
- The translation of Hideko's first name was never officially confirmed. The kanji used for her first name can either mean Hideko or Eiko.
- Hideko's surname Sakuma means "help, aid" (佐) (sa), "long time" (久) (ku) and "while, time, interval, space, pause, chamber, room, apartment, leisure, chance, entr'acte, intervening, as" (間) (ma).
