Hitomi Hoshino (星野(ほしの) ひとみ, Hitomi Hoshino) is an anime-only character that mainly appears in the episode Winter Days!. She is a worker at a fast food restaurant, where she helped Tsumugi Kotobuki as her senior.

Appearance

Hitomi has long dark hair, tied into a plait. She's shown in her work uniform - red visor, green skirt and white shirt.

Character

Hitomi is shown as being calm and friendly. When she was working with Tsumugi, she didn't really mind when Tsumugi made mistakes and tried to becalm her.

Etymology

• The name Hitomi is written in hiragana (ひとみ), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (瞳 or 史美), it could possibly mean:
  • 瞳 - "pupil of the eye".
  • 史美 - "history" (史) (hito) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
• Hitomi's surname Hoshino means "star" (星) (hoshi) and "field, wilderness" (野) (no).
