Kimiko has a severe self-image complex and tries to avoid going near people with fair skin and slender legs.
Appearance[]
Kimiko is a lightly tanned girl with slightly thick legs and remarkable long, black hair that falls down her shoulders. She has full lips and dark blue eyes. As a Sakuragaoka High School student, she is usually seen wearing the school's uniform properly with white Loose socks.

Etymology[]
- The name Kimiko is written in kanji/katakana (キミ子), which has no special meaning except the kanji "子" means "child". However, when part of the name Kimi (3) is written in kanji (君, 公, 貴美, 希美 or 季美), it could possibly mean:
- 君 - "lord, noble".
- 公 - "public, duke, prince, lord, companion, open".
- 貴美 - "valuable" (貴) (ki) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- 希美 - "hope" (希) (ki) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- 季美 - "season" (季) (ki) and "beautiful" (美) (mi).
- Kimiko's surname Makigami means "volume, roll, reel, book" (巻) (maki) and "above, top, upper" (上) (kami/gami), which literally means "winding up" altogether.
Trivia[]
- Kimiko has noticeably darker skin than her classmates, so it is possible that she is either a hafu or of another mixed heritage.
