Kyōko Shimizu (清水(しみず) 響子(きょこ), Kyōko Shimizu) is one of the students from Class 3-2 during the second season of the anime.

Character

Kyōko is quiet and gentle while the expression on her face doesn't often change that much. She likes flowers. She also seems to know a lot about award ceremonies and the music they use. Kyōko has an older sister which also attended the Sakuragaoka High School before her, where she was part of the Occult Club.

Appearance

Kyōko is a pale-faced girl with medium length black hair. One strand of her hair falls down her face, almost reaching her chin. Her eyes are grey coloured.

As a Sakuragaoka High School student, she is usually seen wearing the school's uniform properly with white socks.

Etymology

• The name Kyōko means "sound, echo" (響) (kyō) and "child" (子) (ko).
• Kyōko's surname Shimizu means "clear water/pure water, spring water" (清水).
