Shuffle Volume 1, Chapter 11 is a chapter of the first Volume of the K-ON! Shuffle Manga by Kakifly.
Summary[]
The end of term results have been announced with Yukari, Kaede and Maho looking at them. Yukari's maths score dropped, but still moved up along with Kaede moving up. Yukari feels Maho's anger over being beaten again. At lunch Maho states she was confident with Kaede stating she did move up. This leaves Maho very happy that Kaede remembered, which is interrupted with Yukari dropping her udon on her uniform. Maho thinks to herself how a girl like that can beat her, with Yukari directly asking if she is thinking of something rude. Maho says what she was thinking leaving Yukari shocked. While Kaede helps clean her up, Yukari mentions that for some reason people think she is an idiot. Kaede reassures her she isn't an idiot, which causes Yukari to spill her water and leaves Maho not surprised.
Yukari then mentions she thinks Music and Sports are much difficult than test. As you can memorize the stuff taught at school, but with sports never being the same and music having freedom it isn't as easy. Karin appears adding in the comment about just shouting "WAAH!" to win with Maho mentioning the idiot is now here. Karin then lunges onto Maho wanting to have fun, but ends up choking her slightly. Maho tells her she can't as she needs to catch up with her guitar practice and Karin confused about the lost time.
Riko and Shinano make their way to the society with Shinano excited the tests are finally over. As soon as they enter, Shinano is bombarded with questions of Maho wanting to know what the pentatonic scale is, Yukari wanting to know how to move her hands and feet independently and Kaede wants to know how well Shinano did on the tests. For the pentatonic scale, Shinano makes a certain action and for the drums she tells her to try her best. Kaede repeats her question about Shinano's tests with her replying it was a disaster. Yukari and Maho are in disbelief of the answers she gave them with Shinano saying she never learned the basics and just took a song and played her own version of it. Riko then reveals Shinano got 40 on her Japanese language test and ask for them to forgive her with Shinano telling her not to tell them that.
Karin notices Maho stressed while thinking and tells everyone she is leaving with her today. Maho notices Karin was till here, with Karin replying she was there the whole time. Karin then says that when Maho gets stuck on something she ends up crying, and is then dragged out with Maho telling them she's leaving ahead of them. In the hallway Maho confronts her saying that they probably thought she is a weirdo, before Karin points out it's not good to have a wrinkle in between her eyebrows and bans her from any club activities today. Maho then suggests going to the Basketball Club before Karin repeats herself of no club activities.
They go to a fast food place and Karin remembers a time they had to stay behind in elementary school because they couldn't do their multiplications. She mentions that she made up a song to help her memorize it with Maho remembering that Karin did the song wrong, causing Maho unable to multiply properly. Karin then asks what Maho couldn't figure out before. She then begins to look it up on her phone saying she'll sing up, but Maho is worried she'll learn it wrong again and then asks if she's really gonna do it in the fast food place. Karin begins to sing leaving Maho embarrassed, apologizing to everyone and saying they're leaving now. On their way out Karin complains she didn't get to finish her fries with Maho telling her to shut up. Maho mentions she's always been like this, Karin mentions she's always been overthinking too and then points out the wrinkle is gone. She then tells Maho she should come to her next time for advice with Maho rejecting it. After Karin jokingly mentions she's lucky to have a friend like her. Maho agrees and thanks her, only for Karin to be weirded out by the sudden sweetness and Maho annoyed she had that reaction. The next day Shinano and Riko notice Maho finally learned the pentatonic and asks if Karin helped her. Maho mentions it wasn't really help. Riko says that she has a great friend and Maho replies happily that she's just someone she's been stuck with all these years.

- Yukari helping Shinano study for her maths exam last chapter most likely caused Yukari's score to drop.
- A panel in this chapter is very similar to the original Volume 4 Chapter 8. Karin and Maho are in their winter coats and the back of their heads are shown, just like Mio and Ritsu in their chapter
