Summary[]
Yukari is in her room re-watching her performance before Kurumi comes in asking to borrow the next volume of a manga. Yukari quickly pesters her to watch the performance with Kurumi regretting walking in. After sitting down to watch it, Yukari asks what she thought of it only for Kurumi to point out Yukari has a hangnail. After Yukari asks again, Kurumi gives a half response just wanting the next volume. After Yukari pesters her again, she then critically points out various issues with her drumming like her rebound.
At the society, Yukari tells everyone what happened. Shinano wonders if Kurumi has any musical experience for having that knowledge. Yukari asks her what a rebound is and Shinano gives a short decent response, but Yukari quickly asks Riko to tell her. Riko explains in more detail about it being when the stick's tip drops and bounces back. She then says it can be thought of similar to basketball and dribbling. Karin shows up out of no where and takes Yukari and Maho, while saying she can handle the rest and Maho questioning why she's included too.
Karin takes them both to the sports hall and is explained about the situation. Yukari is still confused about it while Maho still doesn't understand why she's been brought along too. Karin tells Yukari to start dribbling and jokes that her drumming will now be perfect before Maho hits her and turns away pretending she did nothing. Karin wonders if Yukari is gripping the sticks wrong and demonstrates by dribbling wrong. This hurts her hand, with Maho laughing and Yukari understanding it.
Yukari realizes she's been gripping a bit too hard with her usual thought process being "Now I'm really gonna slam it!". Karin then starts to dribble again, asking if drumming quickly is something like that. Yukari then demonstrates with dribbling and Karin tells her she's doing great. Maho notices and mentions she might be better at basketball than Karin. This annoys Karin and she demands a match. Yukari tries to decline, but Maho tells her it will be fine and says loser buys drinks.
Back at the society, Shinano tells Riko how good she is at explaining stuff. However, Riko tells her just because you can put words together doesn't mean it will convey the idea. She then mentions how she is the type to read books about stuff she wants to know and is able to understand how Yukari feels. Kaede is seen tapping drum sticks trying to figure out what rebound looks like. She then asks if that's what is looks like with Riko confirming it is and comments that Kaede is the type who goes by feelings. Riko says that she's happy if what she says helps with them progress, even if they don't understand fully. She then mentions how she just doesn't want them to pick up any weird habits. Yukari returns with some drinks and explains she won easily after Maho told her about Karin's weird habits, leaving Shinano and Riko wondering about it.
