Summary[]
Kaede and Riko bump into each other on their way to the society, which startles Riko. Kaede mentions that Yukari and Maho are having a rematch of basketball against Karin, while Riko notices Shinano peeping into the club room. Riko asks what she is doing, which startles her. Shinano nervously asks what they're doing here, with Riko stating they're here for the club. Kaede asks if Shinano is going to enter, but Shinano points out that Kano is in there. She tells them that she still isn't sure what to talk about when alone with her and Kaede comments that she sounds like an elementary school boy in love.
Kaede and Riko walk in and greet Kano while Shinano stays outside. Kaede mentions how Kano's bass looks cute and Shinano realizes she missed her chance to come in. Kano begins to play with Kaede watching in awe. Kano notices and she says it's hard to play when she's staring at her. Kaede compliments how well she plays and asks how she usually practices. Kano tells her it's nothing special and she just practices until she can play what she couldn't before, with Riko thinking to herself how it took a year for that one time.
Kano asks if Kaede is a bassist and Kaede excitedly confirms she is and compliments her bass playing again. Riko notices that Kaede has pretty good ears. Kano tells Kaede she feel a bit awkward as it's the first time she has been told that. Kaede asks if Shinano doesn't praise her, but Kano says she's kind of abstract about it "Fun!", "Good Vibes!", "Okay!". Kano feels down and reveals she wants to talk to Shinano more about music. Riko explains her idea of talking about music is different because she is a dummy, which Shinano hearing this and thinking she will remember that. Kano questions if it is like that why would Shinano be standing outside the room and not come out, with Shinano realizing she was spotted.
Shinano awkwardly comes in laughing and greeting everyone, while Riko thinks how lame it is. Kano asks Shinano if she has gotten better at playing the bass and Shinano tells her she has and keeps complimenting her how she is the best and perfect, while Riko thinks how Shinano is an idiot. Riko butts in and asks if they'd like to play something because of how long it's been since the three of them played together. Shinano and Kano agree, while Shinano also quietly thanks Riko. Riko mentions show she owes her and Shinano responds like Riko's gopher about how it will be her honour and privilege to buy Riko a yakisoba sandwich again tomorrow, which annoys Riko and scares Kaede. Riko tells her to stop in case people actually believe it.
Riko, Kano and Shinano then perform in front of Kaede leaving her speechless and Kano happy. Shinano quickly hugs Kano and tell her that she is now part of their music. Kano complements her too with Shinano telling her how when abroad she play and sang at the bar, which fries Kano's head due to it being too much info at once. Kaede says to herself how she has witnessed something amazing and continues to have her speechless face. When beginning to leave school, Yukari bumps into the still speechless faced Kaede. She mentions how she won hands down again and asks if she wants to take some drinks. Kaede quickly hugs Yukari, shocking her. Kaede says for them to do their best with their band too, while Yukari is wondering what's with her.
