Ho-kago Tea Time is named that title for a reason! Everyday after school everyone in the Light Music Club heads to the club room and Tsumugi Kotobuki prepares some tea and snacks for the club members to enjoy. Usually, she makes tea for everybody wherever they go. She even brought tea to London! Doesn't that explain why the club is named After School Tea Time?

The origin of the name was because, like we said before, Mugi makes the tea every afternoon. But, who created the name you might ask. It all started in "Episode 11:Crisis!", they needed a group name, but couldn't decide. In the end, Sawako Yamanaka decided on a name based on what they do every single day. Then the name was decided, the name of the band is Ho-kago Tea Time.
